Daniel R. Haney
Daniel R. Haney is an Arkansas attorney with over a decade of experience tackling a wide range of legal issues. Since earning his license in 2011, he’s worked with the Southwest Power Pool Regional Entity to regulate providers in the bulk electric industry, helped parents navigate DHS cases as a Parent Counsel attorney, and handled everything from straightforward divorces to complex civil litigation. These days, he serves as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the 16th Judicial District of Arkansas, where he’s managed thousands of cases, including high-stakes first-degree murder trials. He also serves as the civil attorney for both Independence County and Cleburne County.
Throughout his career, Daniel has successfully tried numerous jury cases and argued appeals before both the Arkansas Court of Appeals and the Arkansas Supreme Court. He’s a proud member of the Independence County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. When he’s not in the courtroom, Daniel is usually spending time with his wife, Shannon, and their three kids, Harper, Jude, and Asa. He enjoys playing guitar, kicking around a soccer ball, and taking his family on fun and memorable trips. Daniel also knows American Sign Language (ASL) and has even used it to assist clients in legal cases.

Johnathon D. Burgess
Licensed in both Arkansas and Texas, Johnathon D. Burgess has been diligently representing individuals and businesses for over 7 years helping them navigate through the complexities of business planning, estate planning, and litigation. Johnathon graduated from Batesville High School in 2005 and received his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University in 2009. After teaching and coaching in the Batesville School District from 2009-2013, he went to work for the City of Batesville to start their youth soccer program. Just a year later, he enrolled in the UALR Bowen School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor, graduating in the top 20% of his class and receiving the Top Paper Award in Specialized Legal Research: Business Law and Reading, Writing, and Advocacy. Known for his diligent, honest approach, Johnathon ensures every case receives the attention it deserves.
A native of Batesville, Arkansas, Johnathon D. Burgess has always been heavily involved in his local community. When he’s not practicing law, he’s enjoying time with his wife, Lindsey, and three children, Paisley, Price, and Gabe. He’s an active member of Compass Church and regularly a volunteer coach for his children.
